Isolated
No environment conflicts, full control, and clean removals.
Laragon is isolated by design
Laragon provides an isolated environment with built-in service orchestration, ensuring it doesn't pollute your operating system.
- You can run multiple Laragon instances from different directories - even simultaneously.
- Each instance maintains its own environment and
PATH
, accessible via: Menu > Laragon > Terminal
This design gives you flexibility, prevents conflicts, and keeps your system clean.
1-click Integration with Windows
Laragon is isolated but if you want to access Laragon's tools (like PHP, Composer, Node.js, Python etc.) from external applications, command prompts, or editors (Code), you can easily add Laragon to your system PATH
.
Just click:
Menu > Tools > Path > Add Laragon to Path
This enables global access to Laragon's tools directly from any terminal or software on your machine.
Easy Detachment from Windows
Need to remove Laragon from your system PATH
?
Just click:
Menu > Tools > Path > Remove Laragon from Path
Laragon will cleanly detach without leaving unwanted traces in your system environment.
Notes
- When installed using the official installer, Laragon installer may add some entries to the Windows Registry.
- During uninstallation, Laragon will not delete key folders or data it considers important to you:
www
- your projectsusr
- your tools and configurationsdata
- your databases and other user data
This ensures your work remains safe, even if you decide to remove Laragon. In that case, you need to delete them yourself.
