Laragon is Portable

Laragon is fully portable - you can move the entire Laragon folder after installation without any reconfiguration. You can place Laragon:

  • On another disk or partition (e.g. C:\laragon → D:\laragon or E:\dev)
  • On a different computer
  • On a USB drive for use on the go
  • In cloud storage (Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive)
  • In a GitHub repository for versioned syncing

Notes

While Laragon is truly isolated and portable, using the installer is recommended for the first setup. It automatically detects and installs required runtime components (like Visual C++ libraries) needed to run tools such as PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Apache.
